The border between Sudan and South Sudan is marked by ethnic conflicts, disputes over oil-rich territories, and rebel activity. Despite South Sudan gaining independence in 2011, tensions remain high. Armed clashes and humanitarian crises make this border one of the deadliest in Africa.
