7Avanos Hair Museum, Turkey
The museum opened in 1979 by a local potter, Chez Galip, who had to separate from his female friend. In order to remember her he asked for a souvenir,[wp_ad_camp_13]…so she gave him a lock of her hair. He placed it on the wall of his pottery shop, but when visitors heard his story, they decided to do the same.
