Earthquake in the province of Rome shortly before 01:00 o’clock this night. Distinctly felt in the capital has been calculated in a magnitude of 3.5R.
According to Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics, the quake measured 3.5R and the epicenter in the municipality of Gallicano in Lazio, 10 kilometers deep.
The shock has also been felt and Rome in many areas and Cities of central Italy.
No damage has been reported so far. Fire service said it had not received any requests for emergency rescues, but was preparing ground teams as a precaution.
The earthquake was distinctly felt in the capital, in particular on the southern and eastern outskirts of the city, and in the territory of the Roman Castles.
