Once one of Bali’s most popular beaches, Kuta Beach has unfortunately lost much of its former glory.

A mix of locals and tourists crowd the shoreline, making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful day. Additionally, Kuta Beach suffers from severe plastic pollution, with waves of litter washing up onshore, especially during the rainy season. Despite cleanup efforts, the waste problem remains a significant issue, impacting the marine ecosystem and diminishing the beach’s natural beauty.

What to Expect: Tourists packed shoulder-to-shoulder, lots of plastic waste on the sand, and choppy waves that aren’t always safe for swimming.
