AMAL and her husband George Clooney married in Venice, Italy, back in 2014, and now fans have been given an insight into their wedding ceremony.
The couple hired out the luxury Belmond Hotel Cipriani for their family and friends, which costs up to £2,900 a night.
The stunning Venezian luxury hotel includes 270-degree views across the canal as well as fine dining, a tennis court and a spa.
This Morning hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes got an insight into the lavish hotel from a guest on the show. She told them: “They [Amal and George] flew all their guests in, they took over the hotel… it’s the 60th anniversary of the hotel this year.”
“George goes there everyyear, he has actually created some cocktails with the head bar man, one of them is called Nina’s Passion which is named after his mum.”
Back in 2014, People magazine reported that the pair arrived to their lavish wedding venue in a water taxi. The publication also stated that Venice’s government announced the closure of streets near Town Hall for the time of their big day.
Most Italian people like to linger at the table, both during and after a meal. Dessert is leisurely and often served with some nice After-Dinner Drinks.
