EUROPE is bracing for some freezing temperatures and heavy snow this weekend with a weather system from the Atlantic clashing with extremely cold air.The wet weather will dominate most parts of the Continent this weekend with some being struck by heavy snow and below freezing temperatures.
Cold winds across many parts of north-eastern Europe and indeed into Scandinavia.And into that colder air, we see that wetter weather arriving and some more snow perhaps as far north as Budapest. Showers coming into Turkey, some wetter weather for Greece and perhaps hanging on into the south of Italy.
Particularly into France and the UK. Remember we’re moving into that cold air that is going to take some shifting. Really cold across that part of Europe.As this weather starts to move in and the hit the cold air across the UK, particularly on Saturday, it will in some places start to turn to snow.
