Italy has been revealed as the best country in the world in the CNT Awards 2018.

It’s amazing scenery and cuisine is what helped it win the impressive accolade.
The runner-up position for best country went to Greece – another spot hugely popular with tourists thanks to its extensive history and sun-kissed islands.
The best airline for short-haul holidays was revealed to be Norwegian Air, the third largest low-cost carrier in Europe.The best airline for long-haul holidays was named as Emirates, which has also won the ‘World’s Best Inflight Entertainment’ by Skytrax’s World Airlines Awards.
The UK also did impressively well in the Best Airport category where Heathrow Airport was named number one. It beat Changi Airport, Singapore.
