Inaugurated in 1671 the Isola Bella garden is located on the eponymous islet in Lake Maggiore in front of Stresa.

The garden, which is part of Palazzo Borromeo dedicated to the wife of Carlo III, Isabella D’Adda, is one of the most famous examples of Italian baroque gardens.
