Vin Santo, “holy wine,” is a smooth amber-colored wine made from Malvasia grapes.
Although made in many parts of Italy, it is most often associated with Tuscany where it is often paired with cantucci, the area’s crunchy almond biscotti.
After a 2 year absence, the town that was devastated by an earthquake is welcoming the festival which celebrates a pasta sauce to which it lent its name!
